This campaign (doesn't occur in an organized form) strives for removals of armaments production, to stop exports of weapons and military equipment from the Czech Republic, especially for putting an end to all deliveries to repressive régimes, unstable areas and states where abuses in repressions and terror can be supposed.

The Czech Republic belongs to the greatest countries exporting weapons, according to certain statistics it occupies the 7^th place in the world-wide ranking.

That’s why it’s inconvenient and alarming that in the CR active campaigning and initiatives for prevention of undesirable arms deliveries have not developed so far.

Apparently, the Government of CR support further increase in arms industry and building further 'defensive' industry, instead of arms conversion and reduction of arms production.
Which parts of the world are the exports of the 'defensive' material being made for?
!- Russia, Georgia, Peru, Colombia, Indonesia, Turkey and other repressive and aggressive régimes !

Russia is involved in the aggression and genocide in Chechnya, Georgia means an unstable country with a possibility of an aggression against Abkhazia and re-export of the weapons to Afghanistan for Taliban, armies and polices of Colombia and Peru are involved in terror and extrajudicial executions. Indonesia means a very weighty case as a very repressive régime involved in immense repressions of its own opposition and against the occupied territories - East Timor, South Moluccas, Acheh - North Sumatra and West Irian. Turkey means a repressive régime using repressions and terror against its own opposition and the Kurds, it also threatens Cyprus and Armenia. Yemen has an undemocratic dictatorial regime.

All these abominable deliveries of weapons and military material to the mentioned countries have to be indispensably, immediately and unconditionally stopped !

The Government, authorities and arms-companies above all have no interest to inform appropriately on the arms export. The situation of transparency and public information accessibility is really insufficient.

For organizing campaigns and protests active participation is necessary. Only through permanent protests it will be possible to persuade the authorities and arms-companies to reconsider arms exports and end deliveries to undesirable areas.
